Privacy Policy

“Personal information” means personal information as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan: information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in the data, or that contains an individual identification code.

When you use the App, we collect and store the following categories of information.

1. Data stored on your device (local data)

Videos you record with the App and related tags, captions, and similar data (“User Content”) are stored on your device by default.

2. Data sent to and stored on our servers (cloud data)

Only if you use cloud backup or album sharing, the applicable User Content (video files, thumbnails, metadata, etc.) is transmitted to and stored on cloud servers we operate.

User Content is not uploaded automatically unless you take an affirmative upload action (including enabling the relevant settings).

3. Billing and subscription information

If you use a paid subscription, we receive the following from Google Play, the App Store, or similar platforms:

• Plan type, validity period, and renewal status
• Transaction IDs related to payments (receipt information)

We do not directly collect or store your credit card number or other payment instrument details.

4. Analytics for service improvement

To improve the App and understand usage, we use analytics modules that collect information that does not directly identify you, including:

• Module: Google Analytics for Firebase
• Provider: Google LLC
• Examples of data:
  • Device information (OS version, device model, language settings, etc.)
  • App usage (launches, session length, features used, crash reports, etc.)
• Google manages collected data under Google’s privacy policy.

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide App features (capture, storage, playback, analysis, etc.)
• To provide cloud storage and backup
• To provide sharing features (QR codes and links)
• To verify eligibility and provide paid plans
• To communicate important notices (Terms changes, outages, etc.)
• To respond to inquiries
• To address violations of our Terms of Use
• To improve quality, fix bugs, and analyze usage trends

• If you create an invite link (URL) or QR code, anyone who obtains that link may be able to view or download videos and related information in the shared album.
• Sharing is voluntary; you are responsible for managing who receives links.

Except as required by law or as described below, we do not provide your information to third parties without your consent.

• When required by law
• When necessary to protect life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult
• When especially necessary for public health or sound development of children and obtaining consent is difficult
• When cooperating with government agencies or local public bodies under law and obtaining consent would impede that cooperation
• When personal information is provided in connection with business succession such as a merger

• If you request access, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of personal information, we will respond without undue delay in accordance with applicable law.
• You may delete data on our cloud servers through App features.
• We may verify your identity using procedures we specify. A fee of ¥1,000 (tax included) per disclosure request may apply.

We may revise this Policy in response to legal changes or changes in our business.

The revised Policy takes effect when posted in the App or on our website. If a change requires consent under law, we will obtain consent in the manner we specify.
